Properly installed screen should last about 7 – 10 years under normal circumstances. With high Florida temperatures, heavy rain, and strong winds you may notice your screen panels not lasting quite as long. This is mainly due to the sun beating down on your enclosure most days. If you are noticing several panels coming out or starting to rip at the same time, it may become more cost effective to rescreen the entire enclosure rather than just doing the ones with damage.

Enclosure Rescreening Includes:

  • Remove all old screen and spline
  • Dispose of all old materials properly
  • Install new Phifer insect screen and new spline
  • Each panel is done separately, this is done to save you from having to replace an entire row of panels if just one is damaged
  • Install new door hardware and bug sweeps on all enclosure doors
  • Adjust and realign screen doors if necessary
  • Inspect and tighten all cables for safety
